Australian grown Genmaicha (pronounced: gen (g for goat)- my-cha) is a combination of sencha, roasted brown rice and matcha powder. A deliciously mild tasting green tea with nutty undertones of roasted rice. Grown in the fertile river flats of northeast Victoria using pesticide free, best-practice farming methods, the tea is prepared in the traditional Japanese way, producing a deep bodied, cleansing tea, rich in antioxidents.
To brew: 1tsp tea per cup. Allow freshly boiled water to cool slightly to 80 degrees. Infuse 1-2min. Enjoy on its own. Avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.
